The Era of Textile Printing.



One of the most traditional textile printing technique in Rajasthan is Handblock printing. This technique of textile printing was first originated in Bagru and has been practising here for so many decades. Many different techniques of textile printing are including in hand block printing such as Sanganeri print technique and Bagru print technique.


In these kinds of printing the artists normally use cotton fabric and cotton dress material. This printing has been done with the help of so many beautiful dyes which is extracted from natural plants, leaves and fruits such as pomegranate, indigo etc. One design and motif takes 2-3 blocks for printing which is made of teak wood.

These teak woods were soaked in an oil for so many days in order to smoothen them and after that they starts using them in printing. 


So many amazing colorful patterns and designs are there such as floral patterns which you can wear on any of the occasions whether they are family get together, parties, professional meetups etc. Such a simple and beautiful stuff of clothing it is.
